Aquascape EcoSystems AquaClearer™ Extreme Cold Water Liquid Bacteria is scientifically blended and tested to produce maximum results during colder temperatures. During the spring and autumn seasons there is extreme nutrient loading in the pond as trees and plants in and around the pond are dropping organic material, such as flower petals, seeds, leaves, dead branches, etc. AquaClearer™ Extreme Cold Water contains a proprietary blend of microbes that are effective at accelerating the digestion of this organic material at the bottom of the pond. AquaClearer™ Extreme Cold Water Liquid is also excellent at reducing ammonia, nitrites and excess nutrients that would otherwise cause poor water quality and clarity.

Application Rates

Double dosage upon first application. Add 1-2 times per month for maintenanc. For best results pour directly in front of pump intake to ensure good distribution, otherwise distribute around pond perimeter. Treatment quantities can be safely increased up to 4 times the application rate if water quality and clarity problem is severe or if the pond is not adequately filtered.

Prior to using Aquaclearer Extreme Wetland/Pond & Lake liquid bacteria these conditions must exist for best results:
pH of water maintained between 6.5 & 9.0
Water temperature above 4.4C (40F)
Dissolved oxygen levels above 3 ppm (3mg/l)

EcoCarbon™ safely clears tea-coloured pond water. Activated Carbon is highly effective at removing dissolved organics from the pond water, such as stains and discolouration caused by leaves and organic debris.
