OASE BIOsys Pond Systems contain everything you need to set up a filtration system for your pond. All components are properly sized, and guesswork is thus eliminated. They are scientifically tested, complete filter systems for the effective cleaning of ponds up to 29,000 gallons. OASE BIOsys Pond Systems include an OASE Aquamax SF or Profimax Filtration Pump, OASE Biotec Pond Filter, OASE Bitron C Ultraviolet Clarifier (UVC), and kink-free tubing. Pond liner is not included and must be purchased separately. Please see the list below for a complete description of each system.

| Plumbing Hints |
OASE Aquamax SF Pumps, Biotec Pond Filters and Bitron C UVCs come with multi-step hose adapters. Additional adapters are not required.
*** Please check the pump performance charts and max. lift figures to make sure that the system you are purchasing fits your application. The Aquamax SF Pump that is included with each BIOsys Pond System has been selected to supply the Biotec Pond Filter with the perfect amount of water when installed at ground level adjacent to the pond. At maximum flows, these systems are only suitable for a small amount of vertical lift and a short hose run between the pump and the pond filter/UVC (= 2 feet maximum head). To see more details on each of the pumps, please click on the pump model listed for each kit. If the filter is installed high on top of a waterfall or you have a long tubing run, for example, please select suitable components separately and upgrade to a larger pump as required.

The Aquamax
SF 3500 Filter Pump supplied with the BIOsys 2 Pond System delivers 3,500
GPH max. at a zero foot head. If the Biotec 10.1 Pond Filter is installed
at ground level adjacent to the pond, the flow rate supplied by the pump
will be close to the maximum of 3,500 GPH, and the ratings for maximum
pond volume shown in the chart above apply.
If you install
the Biotec 10.1 Pond Filter at the top of a waterfall or have a long tubing
run, the pump's flow rate decreases accordingly. At a 4 foot head, for
example (= 3 ft. vertical lift from pond surface level to filter inlet
+ 10 ft. of tubing), the flow rate of the Aquamax SF 3500 Pump drops down
to 2,700 GPH (please see Aquamax pump performance
chart for details). This in turn affects the performance of the entire
system, and the BIOsys 2 Pond System is thus no longer suitable for a 4,800
gallon Koi pond as shown in the chart.
